After-school Programs

Iqrasaurus® Friends of Quran (After-School Classes) build on the universal popularity of learn through play to Learn . Each class is a fun, enriching experience for your child. Kids build a new storytelling project-kit to take home each week based on the Surah learnt for parent-child follow up.

Surah Book-Camps

Surah Book-camps are a fresh and fun way for kids ages 5-13+ to spend their school break! Guided by our experienced teachers and built around exciting themes like from the Surahs in Juz Amma (Juz 30 which is made up of many short rythmic surah), children will enjoy the specially-designed Surah-storytelling models.

Doodle with Quran

A Doodle with Quran workshop uses the Iqrasaurus Qoodle (Quran-doodling) method kids love to deliver hands-on qoodling lessons. The Qoodle approach to learning is imaginative, multi-sensory and fun, creating a dynamic learning experience for your kids.

Parties

Celebrate your child’s birthday and build memories with a unique Iqrasaurus Qarty (Quran-party) experience. Birthday parties consist of creative Iqrasaurus Qarty based games (eg. matching verses to objects) and activities (surah edudrama) led by an Iqrasaurus Qarty-host.

Quran Storytelling (Storybuzz)

Watch your kids’ eyes light up as they explore an array of brightly-colored Iqrasaurus Storybuzz props to be used in the storytelling! Engaging & varied storytelling models based on the Surah themes  are the building blocks of Iqrasaurus curriculum.

Edudrama

Iqrasaurus® Edudrama is a high-energy session full of QuranicGems entertainment for kids ages 5-13+. We provide snacks, games, role-playing, and dressing up for an hour plus of creative internalizing of the messages and values in the Quran.

Parent support series (Baiti Madrasati)

Parents get to learn the underlying philosophy and hands-on mechanics of our theme-based modules to further assist their kids at home. This is a series that consists of Workshops, Reflection & Journaling over a few weeks of 2-3hours in a child friendly environment.

Be part of legacy building by being "PLAYFULLY-MEANINGFUL" parents

In regards to Surah Al-Layl. I was amazed on how this simple activity gave children a deeper understanding of the surah. I also shared the same information with my kids – that when we read Al-Quran everyday, there will be an ‘invisible’ light that shines in our house throughout the night and we are in the protection of Allah سبحانه و تعالى.

1. Practices to strengthen ourselves spiritually. Remembrance of Allah is very important. I believe that by doing this, there will be barakah in our time.

2. I thoroughly enjoy hearing the different ways we can embed the Quran in our lives. Through games and activities, we allow our children to learn, understand and embody the Quran and Sunnah.

I am drawn to the idea of having inquisitive board at home. I hope to have this in mine! I agree with Sis Z that taking note of questions posed by children do give them a sense of respect. It encourages a culture of thinking and asking in a family. Furthermore, it works as a push factor for parents to seek more knowledge as we find answers to the questions. All in all, the whole family grows!

1. The importance of istighfar in the morning
2. ‎Guarding the good deeds we have… (like jangan mengungkit in Malay?)
3. One becomes responsible for what one knows.
4. Spirituality is not taught, but is modeled so it is important for parents to work on themselves first.
5. Our children need to be looked after, nurtured, nourished to grow and flourish. We need to be sensitive to their emotional/physical needs.

I had a very meaningful discussion with my older kids this morning about what surah to do for my homework. Sometimes I forget that they need my attention (in a different way) too.
